Deer Walks Into Store To Check Their Goods, Comes Back Later With Her Kids
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s a busy time of year for many stores. However, this modest gift business in Fort Collins, Colorado, had some surprise customers.
Lori Jones was working her customary shift at the Horsetooth Inn and RV Park’s shop when a young doe casually walked in, as if on a mission to buy gifts for her family. “It was absolutely hilarious,” Lori told The Dodo. “She was staring at her sunglasses and chips. “I couldn’t stop laughing.”
Lori used something sweet to lure the doe out of the store after she had explored the goodies on offer. But that wasn’t to be the end of it. “About 30 minutes later, here comes the deer again with her whole family.”
The children, being well-reared, waited patiently outside. “They were just looking in the doorway, as if to say, ‘Can we come in too?'” ‘No,’ I said. It was hilarious.”
Lori eventually persuaded the curious family to leave her store, but not before taking some incredible close-up photos with her phone. While there is plenty of wildlife in this beautiful area near the Rockies, including mountain lions, bighorn sheep, deer, and raccoons, this was an unusually close encounter!
