A million-dollar treasure that eluded hunters for more than ten years has been discovered by a 32-year-old medical student.
Fenn did not identify the winner, who requested anonymity, or the location of the chest when it was discovered in June by a lucky hunter. Instead, he told ABC News that he “hid it in a pretty good place.”
Jonathan “Jack” Stuef, a native of Michigan, has now revealed his identity in response to a federal court order against Fenn’s estate that would have revealed his identity.
